Our family rented two cabins at Camping Vliegenbos as a unique lodging option in Amsterdam. Surrounded by trees, the setting was serene, yet the city was easily accessible. the staff was friendly, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. With a walkable distance to public transportation, exploring the city was convenient, although more signboards at the campsite would be helpful. The campsite itself was a pleasant surprise, exceeding our expectations with spacious and well-equipped cabins. the restaurant and bar offered a variety of delicious food and drinks, creating a cozy atmosphere at reasonable prices. the campsite staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating, making our stay perfect. the ease of communication and the cleanliness of the facilities added to the overall positive experience. Camping Vliegenbos, located in Amsterdam Noord, provided a great base for our family adventure. With free WiFi and the option for cycling in the surrounding area, we were able to explore the redeveloped wharf area with its trendy restaurants, art galleries, and cultural events effortlessly. the proximity to public transport and key attractions like Museum Ons' Lieve Heer op Solder made our stay both convenient and memorable. We would highly recommend this campsite for families looking for a unique and comfortable stay in Amsterdam.
